PORCELAIN DOG FIGURAL MINIATURE LAMP, white ground with naturalistic facial features, blue collar and sitting in a begging position on a circular earth-tone figural rock formation, underside impressed "Rd 32372", brown glass eyes, opaque white umbrella-form shade, period collar. Fitted with a period burner, colorless chimney. Circa 1898. 13 1/2" H to top of shade, 6 1/2" H to top of collar, 3 3/4" D base.
Undamaged lamp, eyes with light shedding, shade fitter with a flake and normal roughness. Setup undamaged except for some light corrosion to the burner and shade ring.
