Lot 0197
Chinese blue and white teapot from the early 18th century. This Kangxi Period teapot features raised nodules in bands above and below two vignettes depicting the Eight Buddhist symbols. The finial on the cover is a figure of a guardian lion. Dimensions are 7 inches wide by 3 3/4 inches high. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There is a crack on the handle, frits on the rim and a chip on the spout.
Provenance: From a Boston estate.
