NATIVE AMERICAN BEADWORK - (11) Pcs of 19th & early 20th c. Native American Beadwork, including: (1) Seneca Watch Holder, c. 1850, with red velvet frame around watch window having eight beaded bosses, scalloped edge, peaked tan hanger with three bosses or blossoms, long beaded fringe along bottom, roughly 10" x 4 1/2"; (6) Pincushions in various forms, four Mohawk , one Iroquois , and one Tuscarora, 4" to 9" long; (3) Iroquois Whimsical Miniature Purses, one in yellow beads over tan dated 1908, the other two in clear beads over blue cotton, all with loop fringe (mostly gone from the first), 3" x 4" to 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"; and (1) Seneca beaded pouch, c. 1850, in red stroud cloth with blue silk binding (moth eaten), having polychrome beadwork with blue and white border, linen interior, 4 1/2" x 5 1/2"; minor losses and soiling.
