A late Georgian enamel, paste and seed pearl memorial pendant. Of navette shape, the outer edge set with square-shape colourless pastes to the central glazed panel with seed pearls set in the form of a tree and bird, to a blue enamel background, a second glazed panel to the reverse, with sepia scene of a mourning woman, to the engraved foliate border. Length 6.2cms. Weight 16.9gms.
The condition of this lot is fair, with general surface scratching and dints to the metal and paste and scratches to the glass. The enamel background to the seed pearl panel has a crack through its centre. The surround to the sepia panel has a hole to it.
