Cleveland regarding the print, typed history and handwritten note of the period indicating Lind made $712, 161 dollars on this tour. Lind toured the United States in 1850-1852, to great acclaim. Tickets were in such great demand that Barnum sold them in auctions (with admission charged just to get into the auctions) – a marketing ploy that upset Lind.
