English Victorian Inlaid Mahogany Breakfast Table, 19th c., the rectangular top on a tapered square support to a quadruped base on splayed legs with bronze paw cap casters, H.- 28 in., W.- 40 1/2 in., D.- 35 1/2 in. Provenance: The Estate of James C. Westerfield, Jackson, Mississippi.
Condition consistent with age. Three 1 inch gouges on the top. Scattered smaller gouges, scratches and dents throughout. One 2 inch hairline crack on the top. An approximate 1 inch cluster of pea size dents along the edge. Several small losses to inlay on the pedestal. A delightful example.
