Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose Punchbowl, 19th c., the interior with a border of triangles, flowers and masks around a floral center, the exterior with floral, landscape and horse decoration, old repairs, H.- 4 1/2 in., Dia.- 10 1/8 in. Provenance: The Estate of James C. Westerfield, Jackson, Mississippi.

Condition

Condition consistent with age and use. An approximate 10 inch repair along the side and rim. In-painting on the interior and exterior with a line of flaking paint on the interior. Slight yellow discoloration along the rest of the interior. Two 4 inch vertical hairline cracks along the rim. Light wear throughout the painted decoration. A lovely piece.
