Maung Su Yatanabon (1903-1965, Burmese), "Burmese Tribal Portraits," 20th c., consisting of "Wa Man," "Hkahku Kachin Girl," "Yawyin Woman and Her Baby," and "Burmese Thugyi," four portraits, each pencil titled l.l., pencil signed l.r., presented in ebonized faux bamboo frames, H.- 9 3/4 in., W.- 7 in.

Condition

Condition consistent with age. Scattered faint brown spots of foxing intermittently along edges of backgrounds. A pea-size brown discoloration in the bottom edge of "Wa Man." Minute brown spots of soiling on the top edge of "Kachin Girl" and in the upper right corner of "Yawyin Woman." A captivating set. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
