Pre-Columbian, Peru, Huari/Wari culture, ca. 500 to 1000 CE. This is a quartzite figure in a clear/purplish slightly opaque hue showing a standing person with an enormous head relative to body size, wide, almost fish-like eyes, a large nose and mouth, and hands clasped at waist above tiny feet.
