A late Victorian 18ct gold turquoise and pearl ring. Designed as a marquise turquoise cabochon, within a split pearl surround and grooved band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1887. Ring size J. Weight 5.2gms.
  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Turquoise has discoloured with age.

  • Split pearls are replacements

  • Split pearls are a creamy greyish white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.
  • Nacre damage can be seen to some.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
