A late Victorian 18ct gold turquoise and pearl ring. Designed as a marquise turquoise cabochon, within a split pearl surround and grooved band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1887. Ring size J. Weight 5.2gms. Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Turquoise has discoloured with age. Split pearls are replacements Split pearls are a creamy greyish white colour, with rose and greenish overtones. Nacre damage can be seen to some.
