The first an early 20th century pendant, designed as a heart-shape amethyst, within a openwork split pearl shield surround, the second a brooch, designed an oval amethyst cabochon suspended from a scrolling openwork surmount. Brooch with hallmarks for 9ct gold. Length pendant 2.9cms. Length of brooch 3cms. Total weight 5gms. Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Amethyst medium purple. fair clairty. Split pearls have creamy grey bod colour with rose and olive overtones. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Pendant stamped 9ct.
