H-174 Collection of twenty-four different Canadian WWII era armbands. Includes: (1) Gilt "IMPERIAL" and coat-of-arms on a green felt band. (2) Police-blue crown and "NP" on white backing. (3) "R.C.A.F.-POLICE" with a crown above a flying eagle. Snap button-type. (4) "R.A.F.P." on a red/black band with an adjusting buckle. (5) "CANADIAN RANGERS" with maple leaves and a crossed rifle and axe. Snap buttons. (6) "PROVOST". Red on black. Snap buttons. (7) Four Red Cross. One is serial numbered, one is stamped "ARMY MEDICAL SERVICE" - with buttons, and two have strap/buckle adjustment. (8) "LDV". Named to a member of the Home Guard in Victoria, British Columbia. (9) "HOME GUARD". Printed type. (10) "AIR RAID WARDEN". (11) "CIVIL DEFENSE CORPS". Embroidered crown and lettering on a yellow-gold band. Strap/buckle attachment. Post war. (12) Similar with additional "HEADQUARTERS". Post war. (13) Similar with "RESCUE". Post war. (14) Similar with "WARDEN". (15) Similar to above but a white band with a crown and black lettering "CASUALTY COLLECTION". (16) "MP". White felt on black. (17) Similar - yellow lettering on black. (18) Similar.
