CONTINENTAL NEOCLASSICAL PAINTED & PARCEL-GILT SARCOPHAGUS-SHAPE CONSOLE TABLE

French or Italian, 19th c.

The grey faux painted marble canted top over a conforming paneled front with applied parcel-gilt fruiting vine and anthemion decoration, centered by a lamb and sunburst motif, the back with one cupboard door enclosing a void interior, raised on a plinth base. H: 39 in, W: 113 in, D: 26 3/4 in.
