Description
Late 19th/early 20th century, the lid incised with an unknown armorial of a boar's head on a castle turret, with a vermeil interior having a small guarantee "Crab" mark, the exterior sides stamped with several .950 Minerva head purity marks, "G. Keller" and "GK" in a diamond with Mercury head, for Gustave Keller, active 1881-1922. 1.75" H X 3.5" W X 2.5" D. Weight approximately 5.5 troy ounces. Surface with light scratches, a few tiny dings, and a number of dents to bottom where it was obviously used as a hammer.
