The rectangular case is surmounted by a casket-form top fitted with a single drawer, above a pair of doors inlaid with 17th century style male figures among masks and scrolls, opening to an arrangement of seven drawers with lion's mask pulls about one door featuring Hermes holding a caduceus, mounted on a conforming stand with four turned legs joined by stretchers. Old Ebonized finish with some wear, minor loss of inlay, replaced astragal on door, old repairs. 21 3/4 x 13 x 53" high overall.
