A 19th century Burmese Dha (Sword). Wide, slightly curved steel blade with an ivory grip carved with various figures, together with a wooden scabbard having silver banding and mounts fashioned as mythological beasts. No apparent markings. Fine cracks noted to the ivory and light scratches on the scabbard. Blade 19 3/4" long, 29 1/4" overall. Alternate spelling: Dah, Daab.
