Lot 0023
This is a very early piece and pre-dates the Thames River bridge constructed in 1889. This route used a line from New Haven to Springfield and then the Boston & Albany to Boston. It was made by Reed & Barton and it is their pattern "315" which was used over many years. The lid has a nice ornate finial. This is not a common marking.
