EXPERT’S REPORT The painting sized 86 x 66 cm is an oil painting on canvas depicting dying Lucrezia, a semi-recumbent person in armor. In the left corner, we can see bathing women, there is a woman behind Lucrezia and also a group of five angels. There are three angels in the heavens on the right. On the right there is also an obelisk and two less visible figures. The background of the painting is a landscape with a dropped dagger in the center. We ascribe this painting to FRANCESCO ALBANI (1578 – 1660). It has been restored nearly half a century ago and is a valuable artistic relic.
