Early 19th Century Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Amish Small Needlework Record of Birth. Translated from German "Maria Fisler is born the thirteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety Maria F. 1811". Pictured in "Samplers of the Pennsylvania Germans" by Tandy and Charles Hersh, page 235. In a molded frame 5-3/4" x 7-3/4" overall. Condition: Good with fading.
