Roman Empire, ca. 1st to 2nd century CE. Lovely roundel or attachment in high relief in the form of a woman - perhaps a wealth patron, or wife of an emperor. She looks slightly to the right with hair parted down the center, bow on top, folds of her garment just beneath her chin. Wonderful deep green/brown patina! Custom stand. Size: 1.625" W (4.1 cm)
Provenance: Ex-private east coast, USA collection
