Cretaceous Period, 145-65 million years BP. A large tooth of a mid-sized Bahariasaurus ingens carnivore from the Tegana Formation of Morocco. 19 grams, 65mm (2 1/2"). From the collection of the palaeontologist R. Gledhill; collected between 1930 and 1960. The Bahariasaurus ingens teeth are different from those of the Carcharodontosaurus in being thinner but having a thicker more triangular X-section.
