A George Iii London sterling silver chafing dish / toasted cheese dish server by Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard I. Gadrooned rim with shell corners, the hinged domed cover, wood handle linked with chain, engraved crest on lid.1820 date mark. The handle removes allowing to fill the lower basin with hot water.

In excellent overall condition. Light surface wear to the underside and the inner bowl. Handful of minute ding or dimples to the underside. Toning to areas of the handle.
