Roman Empire, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. Heavy, solid gold ring set with red cabochon glass bead. Hammered gold with thin band and oval table with slightly raised center in which the red glass "stone" was set. Quite pretty! Size 5.25 and weighs 8.0 grams. Size: .75" W x .875" H (1.9 cm x 2.2 cm)
