Lot 0144
Small jade incense holder from the early Ming dynasty. This carved jade is in the form of a square tube with open top for holding the incense. Two sides of the incense holder are incised with phoenix and the other two sides are carved with tubular handles.

Dimensions are 7/8 of an inch wide by 2 3/4 inches high. All measurements are approximate.

Provenance: From a Boston estate. Collected in Hong Kong in the 1950s and 1960s.
