Jade carving of Li Po from the Ming dynasty. Carved out of grey-green jade, Li Po is depicted leaning off to one side with a cup in one hand and paper in the other. His wine jug rests behind him.

Dimensions are 1 7/8 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches high. All measurements are approximate.

Provenance: From a Boston estate. Collected in Hong Kong in the 1950s and 1960s.

Condition

There are a couple of chips and some natural fissures in the stone.
