A diamond, ruby and enamel snake bangle. Of articulated design, the polychrome enamel curved bars, with single-cut diamond line tail and similarly designed head, with brilliant-cut diamond crown and circular-shape ruby eyes. Enamel chipped. One single-cut diamond deficient. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.45ct, I-J colour, P1 clarity. Approximate inner diameter of bangle 5.2cms. Total weight 142.8gms.


  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Enamel shows some obvious chips, revealing the metal underneath.

  • Single-cut diamonds well matched.

  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Principal diamond bright.

  • Fairly obvious light and dark inclusions can be seen to the principal diamond under magnification.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Rubies fairly bright medium pinkish-red, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
