Four early 20th century gold gem-set dress rings. To include two 18ct gold ruby and diamond three-stone rings, together with two further ruby and gem-set dress rings. Two with hallmarks for 18ct gold, one with hallmarks partially indistinct. Total weight 8.3gms.

Condition

  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Ruby and split pearl ring with replacement band.

  • Two further ring bands show evidence of repair/ resize.
  • Some replacement stones.

  • Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Rubies medium pinkish red, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Ring sizes P, K, O, and L.

  • Ruby and diamond three-stone ring with hallmarks for Chester, 1923.

  • Ruby and diamond three-stone ring with hallmarks for Chester, 1902.

  • Ruby and split pearl ring stamped 18.

  • Ruby and diamond four-stone ring with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1881, partially indistinct.
