Sachar, the letter dated April 24, 1973 and signed in pen, framed; a card signed by Chief Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. (1841-1935), signed ‘Washington D.C. / December 11, 1928 / Respectfully Yours / Oliver Wendell Holmes / To Carl Gaum (?)’; a signed letter of introduction by Chief Justice Charles Evan Hughes (1862-1948) to the Diplomatic and Consular Officers of the United States of America, dated May 26, 1923; a requisition signed by Admiral George Dewey (1837-1917), known for his victory at the Battle of Manila Bay; and a letter from admiral Hyman George Rickover (1900-1986) to William H. Natcher dated 31 January 1972 regarding the first sea trials of the USS SILVERSIDES (SSN679), the 56th attack type nuclear submarine, and the new technologies it contains; all but the Warren framed with photographs and biographical information overall dimensions: 17-1/2 x 22-1/2 in.
