Pretty 875 silver bowl with handle, possibly used as a sugar bowl. This smaller bowl has a very dainty pattern on the handle and a matching pattern around the rim. Inside has a slightly faded gold wash. Bottom is marked with an unknown maker mark, the star with hammer and sickle and the fineness number 875. This bowl comes from Riga, former Soviet Union which is now the capital of Latvia and the mark started being used in 1958 and is still in use today. Stands approx 4 3/4" with extended handle and approx 4" in diameter. Weighs 5.27oz troy.
