Roman Empire, ca. 2nd to 3rd century CE. Beautiful light green glass vessel, its rectangular body mold-blown to an even squared profile, although with graceful rounded corners, a short cylindrical neck and thick everted rim. Adding to its striking aesthetic is the meticulously ridged, trailed handle bridging shoulder to neck. A marvelous form boasting lovely cool green hues with breathtaking areas of rainbow and silver iridescence. Size: 2.125" W x 5.875" H (5.4 cm x 14.9 cm)
