    From the series: Dances of Sfessania 1621 (Balli Di Sfessania)
    One of the etchings numbered “28” Both inscribed in ink, lower center; Callot
    These two etchings are from a series of twenty-four plates, most likely published in Nancy around 1622 after compositions designed in Florence.
    The figures were street-performers engaged in a dance called 'sfessania'.
    The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York (among many other museums) has the identical series of etchings.
