Handsomely bound by Gruel in 19th c. blindstamped morocco with lettering in gilt and all edges gilt. Slight loss to head and a few minor scuffs. Saint Teresa of Avila, also known as Saint Teresa of Jesus, was a Carmelite nun, theologian, and author during the Counter Reformation.
