Rome, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. A lovely, hand-blown green glass vessel with a concave bottom, near spherical body, splayed neck that flares to a wide everted rim, and twin undulating trail handles joining shoulder to rim. In addition to its elegant form, the surface shimmers with marvelous rainbow iridescence. Size: handlespan 3.25" W x 3.375" H (8.3 cm x 8.6 cm)
