Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A handsome pair of translucent green glass unguent vessels, both with cylindrical bodies (one of an especially slender form), narrow tubular necks, and flat circular rims. Broken pontils on the bases are a nice sign of the ancients' technique. Size: taller vessel measures 1" in diameter x 4.375" H (2.5 cm x 11.1 cm)
