MV-1A MOUNT VERNON PRESSED OPEN SALT, light citron, scallop-and-point rim. Rare. Probably Boston & Sandwich Glass Co., possibly Mount Vernon Glass Co. 1835-1850. 1 3/4" H, 2 1/8" x 2 7/8".
Near proof, rim with a flake to one outside corner and minor mold roughness, shallow chip to underside of base.
