OP-3 VARIANT STRAWBERRY DIAMOND OVAL PEDESTAL PRESSED OPEN SALT, purple blue, smooth top rim. Major variation with smooth lower edges of pedestal, raised on four paw feet, each with only three toes, and unpatterned under base. Unknown rarity. Very thick and crude pressing with heavy fin at one end of rim, bowl is slumped at other end. Unknown origin. Probably 1830-1850. 1 3/4" to 2" H, 2 3/8" x 3 1/4".
Proof except for a small chip to lower edge of pedestal at one end. Short annealing check to base edge, as made.
