Bisque socket head, blue paperweight eyes, painted lashes, feathered and brushstroked brows, pierced ears, closed mouth with thin modeled white space between shaded and accented lips, French marked "Schmitt" composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists and flat-cut derriere, rose silk and navy velvet frock, new black leather shoes. Commentary: Rarely found, circa 1888 bebe with distinctive expression and sculpting, lovely bisque and facial decoration, excellent body with original finish; professional repair to forehead which does not involve repaint of features.
