An articulated fossil of a small carnivorous marine reptile identified as a juvenile Keichousaurus hui measuring between 10 and 12 inches in gross length along the spinal column and dating to the Triassic Period (210 - 245 million years ago). There are two natural filled seams through the rock and fossil, and one repaired break through the tail. The reverse of the 11-1/2 by 8-1/4 inch matrix slab has remnant mounting epoxy.
