Lot includes: 1969 signed White House Envelope addressed to Rex Scouten (stamped with 10-cent first Man on The Moon rare U.S Color Stamp), 1969 Presidential letter auto pen signed by then President Richard Nixon, President Nixon & Apollo II crew Auto-pen signed philatelic memento booklet, 2 NASA artists renditions of the Apollo crew patches, and a very rare 4 X 4 Apollo II crew Beta cloth patch. All items are part of the estate of Rex Wayne Scouten (September 16, 1924 - February, 20, 2013) who was the White House Chief Usher from 1969 to 1986, and the White House Curator from 1986-1997. All items are in excellent condition free of tears, rips, bends, creases, or foxing (discoloration) of any kind, items are encased in plastic folders & are stored with care and attention to detail.
