A pair of WWII German Army binoculars. The right side near the eyepiece bear the inscription "Dienstglas / 10X50 / 401605." The left side is inscribed "beh / KF / O." The binoculars were manufactured by the Ernst Leitz Company (Ernst Leitz GMBH), Wetzlar, Germany. The production number is 401605. The KF inscription indicates "cold resistant lubricant." The optics are clear, however there are condition issues. These binoculars have clearly been used. The familiar textured coating is missing from the left ocular piece and the distal end of the right ocular section. It is not clear whether the current condition is battle related. No case is present.
