The Naval medals are from shooting competitions held at the Naval Support Activity Mid-South base in Memphis Tennessee in 1955 and 1956 and include Sharpshooter 2nd Class in Slow Fire, Sharpshooter 2nd Class in Timed Fire, Sharpshooter 1st Class in Timed Fire, and Sharpshooter 2nd Class in .22 Times Fire (1956). Medals from the 1955 and 1958 Tennessee State Matches include Marksman 1st class in .45 Rapid Fire, .45 National Course, .45 Timed Fire, .45 Slow Fire, and Marksman 3rd Class in .22 National Course. Medals from the 1955 and 1958 Memphis Rifle & Pistol Association competition include Winner of the Center Fire National Course, Expert 1st Class .22 Center Fire Aggregate, Handicap 2nd Place.22 Calibre Pistol, and Handicap 1st Place Aggregate. All medals are in good condition and in individual, plastic front, presentation cases.
