Antique 1890s Limoges hand painted cabinet display set, including the 9 x 6 x 9.50" to finial gilded coffee pot, the 9 x 6 x 7" teapot, the large two handled sugar 7 x 5 x 6.50", and the creamer standing 6 x 4 x 5". For our collectors; these are not English, as they are not bone china, and have stylized dragon dual connected handles. Our clue to identifying these came when finding both Limoges Jean Pouyat Ltd. and Tressemann & Vogt examples with virtually identical handles, as well as the teardrop spouts. The forms and artistry are stunning, and the base carries a latter 19th century impressed A Coffee 9x6x9.50" tall finial to lid glued. Tea 9x6x7", 2 thin lines to base of spout. Large sugar 7x5x6.50". Creamer 6x4x5" Weight on all 5 pds 8 oz. PROVENANCE: A Charleston SC Private Estate.
