An interesting sword, dating: 18th Century, provenance: Europe, dating: 18th Century, provenance: Europe, Straight, double-edged, flat blade, a slight fuller at the base, featuring the writing 'SVLTA NON TEMER SE NON DIO' and remains of brass inlays at one side, the Passau Wolf at the other; massive, gilt-bronze hilt with quillons ending in a ram's head (one of the two quillons restored), grooved grip with Greek fret ring-nut and decorated with spirals, big pommel in the shape of a lion head. Composite?, length 100.5 cm.
