A short sword, dating: 19th Century, provenance: Tibet, dating: 19th Century, provenance: Tibet, Straight, single-edged, damask blade of triangular section, with elongated tip, ribbed at the back; disc-shaped iron quillon, with relieved and grooved border, grip in three sections, the first made of iron with a silver mount at the centre, the second entirely made of silver wire and ring-nuts with a flower-shaped mount, the third made of iron in one piece with the pommel, featuring a large, disc-shaped, coral mount and a small brass button. Wooden scabbard with leather covering, silver mounts engraved with geometrical and floralmotifs, and a bat, provided with one loop. , length 63,5 cm.
