This 19th Century Brass Drum MICROSCOPE features a Mahogany case and blank slides. It measures approx. 7" fully extended and the case measures approx. 6.75" x 2.5" x 2.25".
This lot is from the estate of a very well-known and well-respected lifetime Civil War collector in Upstate New York. Condition / Notes: This scientific instrument shows signs of age and wear that may include patina and abrasions. The mirror is significantly deteriorated and the steel hinges on the case have some rust.
