This barrel-shaped keg is handmade of wood with iron bands. It measures approx. 3" long and 4.25" and has a cork stopper.
This lot is from the estate of a very well-known and well-respected lifetime Civil War collector in Upstate New York. Condition / Notes: This drinking or gunpowder cask is well preserved with signs of age and wear that may include abrasions, discoloration and soiling. It also has a crack radiating out on either side of the stopper hole.
