This painting is in good condition. To the unaided eye the surface appears to have been sprayed with some sort of fluid. Under ultraviolet light, the spots appear but there are no apparent signs of restoration or repair. The frame is in very good condition. The frame is ornately carved, gold moulding with a linen liner and gold fillet. The linen liner is discolored as it has also been sprayed with fluid.
