Chinese. A group of three cizhou stoneware jars or jugs, two with tapered necks and wide, tapering form, the third with a wide mouth and a tapering form, each with a beige ground with brown slip decorated decorative motifs. All apparently unmarked. Approximate height (of tallest) 22", diameter 13".


Wear commensurate with age and use. Some surface scratching and small chips overall, with some glaze pops and imperfections. Some light soiling and some pitting overall. Some repaired hairlines to the mouth and shoulder. Some accretions. Old chips to rims of all, especially at necks. Shelf wear to bases of all. Some small chips to all, some appear to be decorative.
