English, early 20th century. A Neoclassical style rosewood and mahogany pier table, having a rosewood veneered demilune top and a conforming apron, each with decorative brass string inlay, with a pier mirror, and carved and turned front legs and tapering back legs terminating in hoof feet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 38", width 54.75", depth 12.75".
Wear commensurate with age and use. Some scratching and abrasions overall. Top is buckling slightly and dips in center. Brass line inlay is coming up in areas. Mirror with oxidation and areas of loss to mirroring. Some seam separation, and areas where metal edging is coming up. No other visible signs of damage or repair.
