Two 9ct gold band rings. Each designed as a pair of entwined snakes, with pear-shape garnet and vacant crests. AF. Hallmarks for 9ct gold. Weight 9.5gms.

Condition

  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • One ring with stones deficient.

  • Bands slightly out of shape.
  • Garnets medium reddish purple, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Stamped 375.
  • Garnet ring with hallmarks for Chester, 1936.

  • Snake ring with vacant spaces with hallmarks for London, 1901.
